Volume 3, Episode #3 Contents:

Each summer, the Connecticut Writing Project invites outstanding teachers from all disciplines and levels of instruction to participate in a Summer Institute on the Storrs campus of the University of Connecticut. The CWP Summer Institute provides the opportunity for teachers to learn the most current theories in writing and writing instruction, to share their expertise, and to practice writing themselves.

This week's episode of The Lumberyard features writing from participants in the 2007 CWP Summer Institute.

Wally Lamb is a nationally honored teacher, critically acclaimed writer and bestselling author. He is best known for his novels SHE'S COME UNDONE (Pocket Books 1992) and I KNOW THIS MUCH IS TRUE (Regan Books 1998), and for his groundbreaking writing workshops with women prisoners at York Correctional Institution in Niantic, CT.
